PBS Football are delighted to announce that exciting young Ipswich Town Women's full-back Summer Hughes (20) has signed to the agency. We are very honoured to be entrusted by Summer to support the next steps of her career at an important moment.
Having started her career at local club Capel Plough, Summer moved on to the Arsenal PDC before joining Ipswich in the summer of 2020. She broke into the first team during the 2021/22 season, making her debut against Crawley Wasps in August 2021 and has since made over 50 appearances for the club. Summer has represented England at the U19 age group.
An ever-present in the 'Tractor Girls' side this 2023/24 season starting every fixture, Summer has played more minutes than any other player in the squad. A full-back comfortable in possession who likes to get forwards, she has also registered 2 goals this campaign.
We are delighted to be working with Summer to support her footballing career.
