We are delighted to announce the signing of talented Durham Women's FC goalkeeper Anna King to PBS Football. The 5"10 goalkeeper has been involved with the clubs' Women's Championship squad as well as the U21 Professional Game Academy side and Durham Cestria who finished 3rd this season in the FA Women's National League Northern Division One. In doing so, she has amassed an incredible 54 combined starts this season for the U21s (24) and Durham Cestria (30), recording 18 clean sheets.
On signing Anna to PBS Football, Tom Peace said:
"We are absolutely thrilled to be working with Anna going forwards. She is a goalkeeper with immense quality, at 5"10 she is a real presence and is an excellent shot stopper. She has done very well this season at Durham, playing a lot of football week-after-week for their U21s and Cestria sides. I really do believe she is a young goalkeeper who can go onto achieve huge things in the game and we will work as hard as possible to help her in doing this".
