We are excited to announce the signing of 21-year-old centre forward Rachel Akinyemi to PBS Football. Rachel has just finished this season with Leicester City LFC in the East Midlands Women's Regional Football League and scored 12 goals in 12 appearances.
On signing Rachel, agent Tom Peace said:
"Football representation is very very competitive and ultimately you will succeed by the players you choose to represent. Some players seem obvious to take on but others may need to be identified and I believe with Rachel we have done this, we have identified her as a talented forward that could do very well with support.
She possesses everything you need to succeed as a centre forward in the women's game - pace, power and an eye for goal. She also has a lethal shot on her. She reminds me of Arsenal legend Ian Wright in how she plays with that aggression, directness to goal and what strikes me the most is simply her appetite to want to score. She is a natural number 9 and I think a lot of clubs will be interested in her".
