PBS are pleased to announce the signing of goalkeeper Poppy Soper (23). Poppy signed for Blackburn Rovers after leaving former club Charlton Athletic at the end of last season. She had spent two seasons with the South East Londoners which would include a loan to Ipswich Town for the 23/24 season.
Poppy began her footballing career on the books of Plymouth Argyle and it was there that she was spotted by former Chelsea manager Emma Hayes whilst representing The Pilgrims. She would sign for Chelsea on dual-registration terms and while she didn’t feature for the club, she got the opportunity to work alongside some of the world’s best goalkeepers. On the international stage, Poppy has been selected for a number of Wales senior squad training camps - most recently in April.
We are delighted to have Poppy on board and look forward to supporting her going forwards.
