Talented Burnley Winger Signs with PBS Football

We are delighted to announce that Burnley winger Leah Embley (28) has signed with PBS Football. We are honoured that Leah has entrusted us to represent her and look forward to helping her with all things off the field.

Leah is currently in her second spell at FA Women's National League North side Burnley and has an impressive record with the Clarets. During the 2017/18 campaign, in which Burnley won the first of back-to-back league titles, Embley won the Players' Player of the Year, while also being nominated at the North West Football Awards as the 'Women's Rising Star'.

At the end of the following season, having finished as second top scorer with Burnley earning promotion into the FA Women’s National League North, Embley went one step further and scooped a national accolade picking up the Player of the Division award.

She would move on from Burnley to enjoy spells at both Huddersfield Town and AFC Fylde before spending a season with Blackburn Rovers in the Women’s Championship.

Embley then returned to the third tier with Brighouse Town for the 2021/22 season, making 24 league appearances and netting 13 goals.

Embley would return to the Clarets in 2022/23, and became a standout performer.

Playing in all 22 league games, Embley was the joint-highest appearance maker in the squad (31 games), netting nine times, eight of those in the league.

This season Embley has posted impressive numbers once again with 10 goals in all competitions so far (7 in the league) and 10 assists (6 in the league).

We are excited to assist Leah with her football going forwards.
